Nanci Washburn is the President/Founder of Artist Management Agency, a full-service talent and modeling agency that has been a permanent fixture in San Diego for over 40 years and in Orange County for nearly 20 years.

She began her career in the entertainment business as a pianist prodigy at the age of 2. 

Prior to becoming an agent in 1967, she was a model/commercial actress in Los Angeles/Southern California.

Artist Management Agency has offices in San Diego and Orange County representing actors for episodic television, feature film, commercials, print, industrials and voice over.  Artist Management models have just completed a worldwide campaign for Hilton Hotels and Phoenix Footwear.  Currently Artist Management actors can been seen on The Mentalist, Cold Case, Boston Legal, Inconceivable, General Hospital, The Best Revenge, & lots of reruns.

Voices are heard for Disney, ABC, NBC, HBO, Animal Planet, National Geographic Channel, California Bank and Trust, City Bank of New York, Sony PlayStation, Sprint, Nissan, Barona Resort & Casino, Pechanga  Resort & Casino, Sycuan Resort & Casino.  Seen on national commercials for Ditech, Sea World, Sunny Delight, numerous infomercials, print for Crest, Wei Cosmetics, Avis, training videos for Taco Bell, S.A.I.C., Homeland Security, Qualcomm, Intuit, Lexus, Toyota.

Ms. Washburn is the co-founder of the San Diego Film Commission, and currently serves on its board of directors.  She also serves on the Board of Directors of the San Diego Fine Arts Society.  She has served as an officer/board member for the San Diego Repertory Theatre, National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, The Fashion Group International, Little Sisters/Big Brothers, Miss California (Miss America prelim), Medical Biology Institute and the San Diego Historical Society Costume Council.

She is listed in Who’s Who of American Women, listed as one of the Ten Most Outstanding Young Women in America.

Spare time: she travels (having just returned from the Sub-Arctic Circle viewing polar bears), carnivale in Trinidad/Tobago and is an amateur photojournalist.
